In early 2007, James Erickson, who had worked
closely with Jerry at Jerry Jones Direct for the
past 4 years purchased the current advertising
programs from Jerry Jones. Under the new name
of EMC Dental Marketing, James will continue to
offer the effective services from the past while
also focussing on new and effective ways fro dentists
to market in the future.
EMC Dental Marketing originally started as Jerry
Jones Direct, a company run for over 11 years
by Jerry Jones. The company was originally founded
by Dr. Travis McFee, DDS, FAGD in early 1994,
as Media Publishers, Inc. After working under
the guidance of Dr. McFee for 2 years and learning
the power of Direct Response Advertising (DR),
Jerry Jones purchased the company. Since 1994,
the company has changed and morphed from Media
Publishers, Inc., to Media Group, LLC, to Media
Group Corporation, to Jerry Jones Direct, and
finally, to its current name, EMC Dental Marketing.
In fact, the recent metamorphosis of the company
was designed to serve one purpose: Create a company
solely focussed on growing your practice, and
developing new ways for you to get new patients.
James focuses his energy, daily, on developing
and ensuring winning advertising pieces for his
clients. Taking the approach that without a constant
flow of new patients, a practice will wither on
the vine, James and his hand-selected team of
